One example of a collaborative project or group activity that I have implemented in an adult education setting is a problem-solving task. In this activity, I divided the class into small groups and provided them with a real-life scenario or case study related to the subject matter being taught. The scenario presented a problem or challenge that required the application of the concepts and skills learned in the course.
Each group was tasked with analyzing the scenario, brainstorming potential solutions, and developing a comprehensive plan to address the problem. They were encouraged to draw upon their own experiences and knowledge to come up with creative and practical solutions. During this process, I facilitated the discussion, offering guidance and support as needed.
Once the groups had developed their plans, they were asked to present their solutions to the rest of the class.
