I understand the importance of creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the behavioral and emotional needs of students.
One example of my experience in facilitating behavioral interventions is when I worked closely with a student who struggled with impulse control and disruptive behaviors in the classroom. I collaborated with the classroom teacher and the school’s behavior specialist to develop a behavior support plan specifically tailored to the student’s needs. This involved conducting functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of the behaviors and then implementing strategies to address them.
In order to implement the behavior support plan effectively, I consistently implemented behavior management techniques, such as positive reinforcement, visual cues, and redirection.
