Sample answer:
During a group improvisation exercise, two students became increasingly confrontational, interrupting and challenging each other’s ideas. I recognized the potential for conflict escalation and discreetly intervened.
Approaching the students individually, I acknowledged their contributions and expressed my appreciation for their enthusiasm. I then gently guided them towards finding a compromise that would allow both their perspectives to be incorporated.
I suggested that one student could take the lead on initiating the scene, while the other could focus on developing the character’s motivation. This solution allowed them to maintain their ideas while respecting each other’s boundaries.
